In the Community

We take our commitment to the community very seriously.

We believe in fulfilling our professional responsibility to the community by providing legal advice free of charge to not-for-profit organisations and individuals from disadvantaged or marginalised backgrounds - all of whom may not otherwise have access to this type of advice and support.

Not-for-profit clients

Some of the recent not-for-profit clients for which we have acted on a pro bono basis include:

Spinal Cord Injuries Australia Aboriginal Childrens Services National Association for Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect, to name a few.

The firm has shown its commitment by becoming a Foundation Signatory to the National Pro Bono Aspirational Target, voluntarily committing to the provision of 35 hours of pro bono legal services per lawyer each year. The firm recently supported one of its lawyers who undertook voluntary work in Alice Springs with the 'Aurora Project', assisting native title organisations in the provision of legal representation to Australian indigenous communities.

The firm also assists industry associations by providing free-of-charge legal advice, including the Property Council of Australia, Property Industry Foundation, Infrastructure Partnerships Australia and the Tourism & Transport Forum.
